OLD TIME FINISH
Description
Product in paste containing lime putty, marble dust
and non-pollutant additives, specially formulated for
shiny, smooth, lime finishes. It is used on OLD TIME
MAX for obtaining encaustic type, marbled, shiny
finishes.

Single-component finish-coat textured paint, dispersed
in water, chemical-physical hardening, flat

Old Times colour chart. For colours other than OLD
TIME MAX be sure to use inorganic lime-resistant
colours
APPLICATION
Ambient conditions
Ambient temperature: min +8°C max +30°C
Relative ambient humidity: max 75%
It should not be applied under the hot sun or under
very windy conditions.
Preparation of the substrate
Walls:
the substrates must be carefully prepared by manual
brushing and/or by washing, depending on how dirty is
the surface to treat. Old paints must be removed.
Before applying on wet plaster make sure that it is set.
Apply a coat of Metro Fix and subsequently a coat of
Metro Cover in order to level the substrate.

Stainless steel trowel (Stainless Steel Pollock Trowel)
Dilution
ready to use, if necessary add a small quantity of
water to bring it to the right consistency.
Application procedure
Stir the product until a homogeneous paste with no
lumps is obtained. Apply one or more layers, using a
stainless-steel float. The next layer should be applied
when the previous one is dry. Polishing should be
done with the same metal float when the previous
layer is still slightly damp.

coat); 1.1 m2/kg (two coats); On plaster skim coat: 2.5

The coverage varies according to the roughness of the
substrate

Minimum and maximum temperature: +5°C +30°C.
The stability of the product is guaranteed for one year
if it is stored in its original packaging in a dry,
sheltered place. Do not store the product at less than
5°C.
