METRO COVER
Description
Flat, water-based primer for levelling out the surface
of the substrate so as to optimise the application of
the finishing product. It contains: acrylic resins, inert
mineral extenders, selected pigments.

Use
Outdoors/indoors
Suitable Substrates
Cement plasters, plasters containing lime, exposed
reinforced concrete, prefabricated elements in concrete,
fibre cement. Indoors it is particularly suited as a
preparatory impregnating primer for parts in
plasterboard, which can be painted over with any kind
of water-based finish. It is recommended not to use on
substrates with old paints.

Preparation of the substrate
All the substrates must be carefully prepared by manual
brushing and/or by washing with high-pressure cleaning
equipment. Existing paint should be removed.

Type of diluent: water
Dilution: 40-60% = 400-600 ml per litre of product.
Application procedure
Dilute METRO COVER in accordance with the
absorption of the substrate and apply a single coat.
After waiting at least 4 hours, finish off with any waterbased
product.
Drying or setting at ≈ 23°C
On the surface: 2 h
Coverage (with one coat)
7-8 m2/litre
Recommended amount used per m2: 143-125 ml.
Coverage per pack (15 litres): 117 m2 approx.
The coverage varies according to the roughness of the
substrate.
Coating with paint
Compatibility with other products: with all solvent-free
products.

Storage
Minimum and maximum temperature: +5°C +30°C.
The stability of the product is guaranteed for one year
if it is stored in its original packaging in a dry,
sheltered place. Do not store the product at less than
5°C.
